# Token Utility

The PDG token serves as the backbone of the ProdigiConnect ecosystem, enabling various functionalities:

1\) Payments & Transactions

* PDG tokens may be used as a payment method at participating restaurants and food vendors.
* Merchants can offer discounts or loyalty rewards to customers who pay with PDG.

2\) Reward System

* Users earn PDG tokens for contributing valuable content, such as restaurant reviews and food-related content.
* Completing mini-game missions at restaurants rewards users with PDG.
* Referral incentives encourage user adoption and community growth.

3\) Merchant & Business Adoption

* Restaurants can stake PDG tokens to boost their visibility on the platform.
* Businesses can distribute tokens as incentives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

4\) Community Engagement & Governance

* Future governance mechanisms may allow PDG holders to vote on platform updates, partnerships, and reward distribution.

Active users can earn additional PDG rewards by participating in community-driven events and decision-making processes.
